At times, I enjoy being at work. I enjoy slogging for a pathetic pay because I think in future, it’ll help me get somewhere. It’s a plus point I’ve great colleagues i.e Jacqueline especially.
But at times, I wish I could take 67 down a couple more stops, where I know I will truly be happier. Despite the sun, despite being burnt, despite getting injured, despite everything, nothing beats the feeling on waters with the whole team, striving to do ourselves and each other proud. To clock timings and to break them, like a vicious cycle, it goes on and on. It seems broken now, for me, but I’ll keep going. I just want to clock back average timings. Sigh
And after work, when I feel like life’s all drained out of me for the day, the thought of you perks me up again. Gone are the days where we could randomly pop by theatres for movies, rent loads and buy chips back home to laze, go swim and play tennis, just walk from one end of somewhere to another, go eat nice udon (we still can, it’s so nearby =D), and all the little things we used to do. But they’ll come back in 4 months time (: Meanwhile, you’re always in my heart, close to me, by my side, every day every second. Sappy as it sounds, only you can feel it. Rmbr the aussie days, we’ll get that pontoon soon. HAHAHA. And please know this baby, I am proud of every single thing you’ve achieved and am sure that whatever you haven’t yet, you will in future. Go, baby, I’m rooting for you (:
